Hi, my name is Jordan Lawson! Being around wrestling my entire life, it was no question that I would fall in love with the sport. Going into my third year of high school wrestling, I am comfortable saying that wrestling at the next level is a goal of mine. Over my wrestling career, I have earned 2x All American Status and 3x State Qualification. I am also the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference Girl’s 170 Champion and placed 3rd at MPSSAA 1A/2A North Regionals this year. I spend my off season wrestling at tournaments across the country in order to strengthen my abilities as a wrestler. Through this sport, I have gained physical and mental strengths that translate into life outside athletics. I am looking for a university that challenges me academically as well as athletically. I plan on pursuing a major in Law and Legal Studies and hope to find the higher education that best suits my academic and athletic ambitions!

Hello, my name is Ailee Briggs. I have recently won the 2024 Florida 135lbs girls state title and placed 7th at NHSCA. I have been wrestling since I was 6. Wrestling has given me the opportunities to over adversity and to persevere through tough challenges. It has also given me a way to spread the gospel. I love repping God when I step on the mat because without him, I would be nothing. Wrestling gives me a way to teach my peers about God when we are sitting and waiting for our next match. I'm truly grateful for everything God has blessed me with and I pray he will continue to bless me with more opportunities to glorify him throughout my journey. I want to get into school for criminal justice so that I am able to prevent child trafficking because God's children are not for sale. I know that God will lead me to the right school for wrestling and my degree.

Hi, my name is Erin Wrigh. Even though I just started wrestling 2 years ago, I have fallen in love with the sport. It has given me an experience I will never forget and has taught me some very valuable life lessons about discipline and leadership. Wrestling has given me a chance to be a part of a team. It has also given me a chance to pursue something bigger once I graduate from high school. I would love to continue my wrestling journey throughout college while also pursuing my dream of becoming a criminal lawyer. I've always know that I wanted to have a job that will contribute to the community. Wrestling has also helped me become a better and healthier person mentally and physically. Wrestling has given me a place in life.

Hello, my name is Dayanara Rico! I am going into my second year of wrestling, with the HS 23-24 season being my first time ever having wrestled. Although I may not have been wrestling for very long, I am very willing to face and overcome any and all difficulties that my journey may bring. I am a very open-minded person and will always be willing to learn from those around me in order to improve myself not just as a wrestler, but also as an individual off the mat. I would love the opportunity to continue my wrestling journey after high school. The sport has not only strengthened me physically but mentally as well, and it has helped me develop such important relationships in my life. I plan on pursing education in the Kinesiology/pre-physical therapy field. I hope to find a school that will be the best fit for my academic and athletic goals!

Heyy! My Name is Lexy Pabon! I started wrestling my freshman year of high school. I am now a 2x State Champion, NE Region Champion, National Runner-up and Super 32 All American! I am looking for a school that can help me get to my dream goal of becoming an Olympic and World Champion! So far, my majors are undecided, but I would love hands on classes that involve athletics! I am also looking for a school that prioritizes one on one learning for those who are struggling with classes. I have a family of 8 and although I would like to get away, I don't want to get too far, I would love to wrestle in college at the potentially 124-130!

Hii! My name is Reagan Ramadan. Wrestling is my passion and a huge part of my life and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity the sport gives me to glorify the Lord and spread His love along with positivity to so many people throughout the country. Demonstrating sportsmanship and commitment to the people around me and to God who is always with me is of paramount importance, and I am eager to extend hope and joy to greater crowds through wrestling. Disciplining my mind and body every day helps me stay focused on my goals. I have big dreams of competing at Fargo because I believe it is a critical step in my journey as an athlete who intends on competing at the collegiate level and the experience will allow me to test myself against elite girls and grow from there. I want to major in speech pathology or communication and speech disorders in college to achieve my goal of becoming a speech pathologist. I am a 2x Prep Nationals All-American, a Tyrant Nationals All-American, a Beast of the East All-American, and a NE regional runner-up. Now that I am in a public high school, I am working hard towards becoming a state champion. It is challenging as a wrestler, especially a female wrestler, in Maryland public schools because of the restrictions the state puts on how many tournaments we can compete in during the season, which greatly reduces the number of matches we get as female wrestlers. Opportunities are extremely limited because competition is not always available as girls wrestling is still a growing sport. Due to the limitations Maryland puts on wrestlers, it is crucial for me to be able to compete off-season and wrestle freestyle which is the style women wrestle in college. I am committed to reaching my goals in both wrestling and furthering my education and this is necessary for me to succeed.
